Required for Diesel Engines. Compressed gas suppressants will not stall a diesel engine. If fire breaks out aboard a diesel powered vessel, the engine must be shut down immediately. Continued operation may remove the agent creating the possibility of re-ignition. FIREBOY engine shutdown systems respond automatically when a Fireboy system discharges. Includes a round helm display unit with an integrated alarm horn, charged/discharged lights and an override switch for restart or control of auto-shutdown. 12/24 VDC.
