Fits Mercury/Mariner 6 hp. and higher (2 cycle, USA & BEL origin) outboards, Mariner 30/40 hp. with oil injection (2 cycle, Japanese origin), all Mercury/Mariner 4-Stroke (USA origin) outboards, Force 40 hp. and higher (1993 and newer) and Mercury Jet Drives. When used with MY2005 and newer 8/9.9 hp. four stroke outboards an adapter harness 892473A01 is required.
