Includes new 68 AMP alternator, mounting brackets 18-5968, pulley, wiring, hardware and instructions. Converts model 470 aluminum block Mercruiser engines serial number 4625580 & up with stator charging system and water cooled voltage regulator to alternator system. NOTE: Fuse kit 18-8220 (sold separately) is required on engines with a Delco starter (round solenoid mounted to starter); Prestolite starters with remote solenoid DO NOT require fuse kit. Visually inspect starter prior to ordering conversion kit.
