The 12 volt rechargeable battery is equipped with 5 Amps of power to ensure up to 4 trailer brakes will hold for the mandatory 15 minutes upon separation from the tow vehicle. Make sure your break-away kit remains charged for proper operation! Break-away kits activate trailer brakes upon separation from tow vehicle. Exceeds D.O.T. regulation 393.43 (d).Will hold 1 to 2 axle trailer brakes on for at least 15 minutes. 5 Amp hour rated.
